The Memorial 3 Gun match is filled with impactful moments and takes me a few days to process it all. At the top of the list is meeting the Gold Star Families and sharing the stories of their loved ones. Those relationships don't end when the match ends. I met Jake and Jaime 2 years ago when their son Keigan was an Honoree. Jake and Jaime have become friends...I am so thankful to have people like Jake and Jaime in my life and to share the memories of great men like Keigan who I wish I had the opportunity to meet.

Having the opportunity to shoot with all the Gold Star Families was the most important part of the 2023 Memorial 3 Gun match. I hope we did justice to the cause. One day, it may be someone else shooting with a family of someone close to me and I hope the group that shoots with them takes care of them as much as we tried to take care of our Gold Star Families this match.

This is more than an amazing 3-Gun match that everyone has come to expect. It is also a tight knit community that comes together to support and honor the Gold Star families of fallen Special Forces Soldiers. Memorial 3 Gun is very professional in honoring these 10 men and their families.

Getting back to real life after the Memorial 3 Gun match is super challenging! I'm still riding that high of the match itself plus everything I experienced with the Gold Star Families. I continue to feel incredibly honored to represent the Foundation as an Ambassador, and I look forward to next year's event.

Listening to these families talk about their loved ones was an emotion, but fantastic experience to see the type of men they were and the effects they still have today.
