This year's Memorial 3 Gun [match] held special significance for me. One of my former teammates and close friends, James Patton, was among the 10 honorees chosen for this year's event. Pulling out a stage win on the stage dedicated to him made it even more meaningful. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Bryce, Erik, and the entire event team for organizing such an incredible experience for his family. Reconnecting with his family after all these years filled my heart with joy. The competition at the match lived up to its reputation with ten challenging stages, testing every aspect of the sport.

I can't think of a more fitting way to celebrate the lives of those who have given their life in service of others than doing something they loved with their families and friends. It was inspiring to see the strength the families had to share the stories of their loved ones and a reminder of what so many Americans put on the line every day. This was an amazing event and everything packed into the one weekend was an ass-kicker. Loved every minute! This is one to put in the calendar for sure, not just because it was the biggest match with the most sponsor support we've seen for a number of years, but because the good that the organization does behind the scenes is incredible!

Words can't describe how great this match was this past weekend. Thank you to all the Gold Star families that made it out and shared the life of your loved ones. It was an honor to meet you all. To get out there and honor our fallen, show their families love and support. It's incredible. I look forward to next year and as an Ambassador doing all I can to help this phenomenal organization grow and make others aware of what those have sacrificed.

It was an honor to be involved in a noble event for a great cause. This event brought the competitive shooting world together with current and past military members and the public to Remember, Honor, and Memorialize 10 fallen heroes in the spirit of competitive shooting.

The 6th Annual Memorial 3 Gun is in the books, and man was it a great match.
