SURVIVED BY: Aaron is survived by his parents Randy and
Laura Butler of Monticello; fiancé Alexandra Seagrove; siblings Shannon (Brad) Young, Shane (Michelle), Quinn (Leesa), Nathan (Brooke), Andy
(Tori), Chad (Kelly) and Adam Butler; grandparents Pat and Marva Butler and Stan (Diane) Augustine; and 23 nieces and nephews.

TSSG Aaron Butler's team was on patrol with Afghan troops battling the Islamic State in Afghanistan. The building they secured, was being cleared when a booby-trapped was detonated. Tragically SSG was killed with several of his teammates sustaining injuries.
