CPT Trevor Graves dedicated over 22 years to the United States Army, a testament to his unwavering commitment to service and his desire to forge a better world. His journey was one of relentless self-improvement, marked by extraordinary achievements and profound personal struggles.
Trevor's military career spanned multiple deployments, including tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and two deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom following his graduation from West Point. While his experiences shaped him into a formidable leader and soldier, they also exacted a heavy toll. Despite his remarkable resilience and numerous victories over his internal battles, one ultimately proved insurmountable.
Beyond his military service, Trevor's legacy extends to the civilian realm. He co-founded the Legion Memorial Run N Gun, a significant event that benefits Chapter 38, a 5th Group Green Beret foundation. This organization supports 5th Group, their families, and Gold Star families. Through this shared endeavor, he forged a profound connection with a Gold Star father, becoming a cherished running companion, mentor, and steadfast friend.
Trevor was a man of exceptional intellect and passion. Fluent in five languages, he engaged in deep, meaningful conversations, demonstrating a remarkable breadth of knowledge and a genuine desire to connect with others. His mind was a wellspring of innovative ideas, and he poured his heart and soul into transforming those ideas into reality. His dedication and drive inspired all who knew him.
